Teaching Experience

1975-96      The Atlanta College of Art, Atlanta, Georgia, (now SCAD). Received tenure in 1982. Associate Professor of Painting, Drawing and Design. At various times during my 21 years at the Atlanta College of Art, I served on numerous faculty and administrative search committees and other committees that support the academic life of the college.  Some years, in addition to teaching, I served as Head of the Foundation Design Program and as Head of the Painting department.  From 1975-1981 created the Visiting Artist Program which was extensive and brought exceptional artists and curators to the college.  A partial list includes, Vito Acconci, Judy Pfaff, Marcia Tucker, Wayne Thiebaud, Dennis Oppenhiem, May Stevens, William Wegman, Lucas Samaras, Janet Fish, Joan Semmel among others.
